HEALTH authorities across British Columbia learned recently how they will share $10 million com- mitted by the Ministry of Health to imple- ment its mental health plan. “This funding wil! enhance health authorities’ capacity to support people with mental illness effectively in their com- munities,” said Health Minister Penny Priddy. The North Shore received $446,255. The subcommittee con- firmed and recommended this year’s allocations. Allocations are subject to the ministry’s approval of the health authorities’ mental health plans.
