volunteer sales staff are also. brim-

advice.
For the first time this year, water
plants will be added to the inventory.
.:Many home gardens are adding a
_ water feature, some as small as a pot
of water with floating plants. This has
created ‘a demand for interesting
Aquatic plants.

“The sale will offer all the regular
“plant categories including cacti and

pot-luck from members’ gardens,
rhododendrons, roses, trees and
shrubs and seeds collected in
VanDusen Gardens.

There will be 16 cashiers under
tents, ready to take payment either by
cash, cheque, Visa or MasterCard, All
prices include taxes,

Those attending are reminded to
bring a box, wagon or wheelbarrow
to transport purchases. A “plant hold”
area will be available for visitors to
enjoy a walk in the garden as part of
the day’s activities.

This fundraising event is orga-
nized by the VanDusen Botanical
Gardens Association.

Admission is free all day until 6
p.m. and the public i is invited to come
and enjoy a visit to this 55-acre gar-
den.
