The accident occurred at about 4:20 p.m., three kilometres north of Lions Bay. A passenger was thrown clear. The driver was trapped in the cab of the vehicle. West Vancouver and Lions Bay fire department crews worked for about two hours to extricate the driver. The man was removed from the truck and airlifted to hospital with undetermined inju- ries.
