The lifeboat crew assisted a Canadian Coast Guard hovercraft, stationed at Sea Island in Rich- mond, and searched in the eastern end of Howe Sound while the hovercraft searched in the western end. The missing vessel and the boaters were found in Gibsons about three hours after the search began. There were no injuries. The NSLS assisted the North Shore Rescue Team by searching along the western shoreline of In- dian Arm from Woodlands to Silver Falls. The two hikers were found by the land team on the mountain.
