He believes the calendar will en- courage understanding and mutual respect among different religious groups. The 1992 calendar includes 1) religions: Aboriginal Peoples; Bahai Faith; Buddhism; Chris- uianity; Hinduism; Islam; Jainism; Judaism; Sikhism; Unitarianism; and Zoroastrianism. The three-man committee that put together the calendar includes Rev. Dr. David Spence, a United Church minister, who coordinated the artwork, and Dr. Charles Anderson of the UBC Department of Religious Studies, who presided over the editorial content of the calendar. Eduljee, who is also publisher of Heritage Press of North Van- couver, is responsible for the prin- ting of the calendar. All three are members of the Vancouver branch of Canadian Ecumenical Action (CEA), a group that promotes under- standing between different faith groups. “Religion is the repository of all high ideals of humankind, but also the repository of the worst things done to humankind," says Eduljee.
