N. S. men lift champwunship

TWO North Shore
weightlifters pushed their
way to first and second place
in their respective divisions
at the Southern B.C.'s body
building championships held
November 16 in New
Westminster.

Scott Wellenbrink, 18, in
his first competition, finish-
ed first overall in the light-

heavyweight senior men's
division, while stablemate
Rory Pinder, 26, followed
close behind finishing second
in the same division.
The competition, held in
New Westminster’s Vincent
Massey Auditorium, is a
prelude to the B.C, champi-
onships in June.
