week in the B.C. Quarter-
Finals, but lost Friday Nov.
23 to Notre Dame in Semi-
Final action by a score of 6-0.

Friday’s game was a classic
battle which pitted West Van,
the No. | ranked team in the
province on defense, against
Notre Dame, che No I rank
ed offensive team

A pass interception, and a
number of penalties against
West Van helped set up Notre
Dame’s only score early in
the 2nd quarter. The second-
half saw West Van dominate
the play, bul costly mistakes
prevented West Van from
scoring and winning.

West Vans’ tough defense
was anchored by tackles Rob
Reynolds and Rob Pearson,
ends Jim Roberts and John
Pantages, and linebackers
