People of all types and professions will have the option to live on houseboats with the legalization of floating home communities in the Greater Vancouver area. Recently. New Westminster became the first municipality to take this progressive step. Is a Float Home for you? For the first time, a six- week workshop senes on houseboats is being spon- sored by a non-profit organizaton, the Floating Home Owners and Builders Association. Six Monday evening seminars will discuss every aspect of floaung homes, from design to construction, cost and lifestyle.
