seriously damaged by a fire
caused by arson Wednesday
night, thanks to the actions
of a neighboring couple.

Fire Department reports that
the tenant living at 3789
Hillcrest was out when fire
started at the home a few
minutes before midnight.

The fire is being in-
vestigated as arson, since the
areas set alight were the
outside of the back door, the
porch floor and the carport.

A neighbor, Klaus Kuhn,
spotted the fire and ex-
tinguished it with a garden
