ding for homeless people.
Shelters and storefront. ser-
vices throughout the Lower
Mainland are in need of
community support through
the contribution of supplies
for the homeless.

United Way's Cold Wet
Weather Strategy creates
temporary “winter only”
beds for people who are at
high risk during the cold wet
weather.

Early indications this year
reveal that there is a huge
increase in the homeless,
including women, men, chil-
dren, youth, seniors and peo-
ple with disabilities and
chronic health problems.

The following supplies are
urgently needed for the
homeless: gloves, mitts,
warm socks, blankets, winter
