The West Vancouver Police Department is invit-
ing everyone to help celebrate the relocation of
the Community Information Centre o1: Feb. 7
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will rake place at the new Kiosk located on the
second tleor near Future Shop ar Park Roval Shopping
Centre's south mall.

Police officers and volunteers will be on hand to take pic-
tures of children to kick off a child I.D. blitz.

Child Identification provides parents with a “passport”
containing a recent picture of a child along with important
information about the child.

These “passports” are very useful if vour child should hap-
pen to go missing. This has been one of the centre’s most
successful programs.

Cpl. Jetf Young and police service dog Rocky will also be
on hand.

Young will answer guestions from the public.

The West Vancouver Police is also accepting applications
for volunteers to work in the Communiiy Information
Centre.

The centre provides an excellent opportunity for people to
interact with members of the community as well as learn
about the West Vancouver Police.
