FOUR of Vancouver’s premier
choirs have gone to the dogs.

North Shore-based women’s ensem-
ble Pandora’s Vox, youth choir
Chantelope and the B.C. Boys’ Choir
join the Vancouver Children’s Choir in
concert Saturday, Oct. 25, at North
Vancouver's Centennial Theatre.

The event is called Animal Crackers.
Proceeds are to benefit Animal Advocates
Society of B.C., which undertakes animal
rescue and advocacy for proper pet care,
spaying and neutering.

Each choir will sing familiar favorites,
including songs about cats and dogs.

These heritage awards are given in recognition of the
efforts of individuals and groups involved in promot-
ing heritage within the District of North Vancouver.
There are four different award categories:

Restoration of Residential/Commercial Structures
Heritage Advocacy (Individual; Corporate)
Heritage Landscape Preservation and Enhancement
Compatible new design in a Heritage Context

Nominations must be received no later than
November 15th, 1997.
