Mandarin speakers’ course.

VANDUSEN GARDENS is
offering its first busic gardening
_ course in Mandarin.
There will be two sessions:
Tuesday, March 29 and
Tuesday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. in

the VanDusen Floral Hall, cor--

ner of 37th and Oak Street,
‘Vancouver.

Topics wili include: basic
landscape maintenance, site and
soil preparation, appropriate
plant selection and other discus-
sions related to general garden-
ing. .

Participants will have an
opportunity to ask individual
questious. The printed handouts
will be in both English and
Chinese.

The instructor, Jerry Looi, is _
