Designed for school children from ages 10 to 16, Morning Stars is a practical but fun ap- proach to basic astronomy and space science concepts. The participants will learn about summer skies, black holes, space travel, planets, constellations, galaxies and other astronomical “nuts and bolts". In addition, they will have the opportunity to carry out astronomy experiments to find the scale of the solar system, create astronomical illusions and observe the skies with and without a tele- scope. A session in the Planetarium is also included and, weather permit- ting, an evening will be spent observing the stars at a nearby location.
