Swimmers representing Canada, Great Britain, Sweden, France, Spain, Australia and the U.S. were assembled at the Esso Inter- national Swim Meet April 18 to 21 at the Olympic Pool in Montral. Sara Frisby, 15, captured two fifth place finishes in the swimmers up against world ‘TWO NORTH Shore Shor women's &00-metre freestyle and the 1500 meter freestyle and a seventh place finish in the 400-meter freestyle. Kevin Draxinger, 17, took a silver medal in the men’s 200-meter backstroke and a fifth place in the 100-meter backstroke. They will meet again at Canada Cup, Vancouver Aquatic Centre, May 24 to 26. FOREST Hills Little League, one of the oldest Little Leagues in Canada, launched its 27th year yesterday at twelve noon with the opening day ceremoies. The try-outs and the draft for both Forest Hills Little League and Capilano Jr. Baseball, were held in late March. The fields at Eldon Park, Can- yon Heights and Cleveland Park (Nancy Green Way) have been groomed for the 1985 season. This year has seen the biggest sign-up of players in the history of the League.
