_ apology. — Dear Editor: In a letter published Nov. 18, Mrs. Doris Whitfield, Acting President of the Navy League of Canada, North and West Van _ Branch, attacks Malcolm Watson for his protest of the Sea Cadets accosting the public for cash hand-outs at shopping malls. Mrs. Whitfield is annoyed at his use of the term “panhandling” Frankly, I don’t see why. That's the _ word we use when it happens to us on East Hastings _ Street!
