Daddy Warbucks was a former TU

When the smash musical
“Annie” opens its Van-
couver run December 17 at
the Queen = Elizabeth
Theatre, an actor
remembered with warmth by
thousands of Theatre under
the Stars fans will be once
more in the local spotlight.

Playing the part of Daddy

Warbucks is Jack Collins
who kept the laughter in
high gear in such TUTS
productions as Damn
Yankees, Brigadoon,
Pyjama Game and Bells are
Ringing among many others.

Since those days, Collins
has studded his multi-
faceted< career by notable

appearances in twenty-seven
Broadway shows including
the award-winning, A Funny
Thing Happened on the Way
to the Forum. In Hollywood
his film credits list The Sting
and The Towering Inferno
among a lengthy line-up of
camera capers, while
television has claimed him
for multiple appearances in

The Rockford Files,
Bonanza, The Odd Couple, I
Love Lucy and over seven
hundred other video
programs.

Collins is looking forward
to his return to Vancouver, a
city he knows and loves. He
has many friends here, and
