Stolen car torched

A STOLEN 1984 Plymouth Reliant was set on fire on
Saturday, Oct. 16, at Vancouver Wharves near the south
end of Capilano Road in West Vancouver,

The car fire was reported at approximately § p.m. The
car was stofen from North Vancouver,

The West Vancouver Police are investigating the inci-
dent. — !

Off to jail
A .29-YEAR-OLD North Vancouver mun was recently
jailed 60 days in connection with a charge of breaching
probation. - ,

Babak Mirhadi was found guitty of a charge associated
with an Aug. 25, 1992, incident i in North Vancouver Ci-
ty.

"The charge involved failing to report to a probation
officer. .

AN ARSON fire on Oc?. 13 damaged a carpet in the of-
fice of an apartment at 161 West 4th St. in North Van- —
ceuver City. ;

”. The fire started after a box of newspapers was ignited
at approximately. 3 a.m., according to a North Van-

couver City Fire Department spokesman.
~ Newspapers: were also pushed through a mailbox and

started on fire in an apartment adjacent to the office. .

call the North Vancouver RCMP at 985-1311.
