variable intermittent wipers,

Driving the GT is a pleasure
because all of its components
work so well together. The
power-assisted rack and pinion
stecring responds quickly to driver
input and requires little effort.

The standard five-speed manual
transmission has a firm, direct feel
and is well positioned for reach.
(The optional four-speed
automatic transmission, by the
way, is one of the smoothest
automatics in any small car on the
market).

The disc brakes on all four
wheels offer exceptional stopping
