Cable TV
channels change

As of May 4, KING (NBC), currently on Channel 5, will switch

places with the Knowledge Network on Channel 18.

A press release from Shaw Cable stated the company was obliged
to move the Knowledge Network due to current CRTC regulations,
which give priority to any Canadian broadcaster.

Shae Cable had appealed, on the grounds ‘that the Knowledge
Network is well established at its current channel position. But the

company lost its appeal.
