As far as | can tell it began back in Edmonton. In 1994 an Edmonton Police Officer met a five year old boy who was fighting for his life against cancer. He had lost all of his hair due to chemotherapy. He was a very upset about this. The officer shaved his own head and told the young boy they would have their picture taken together in a police car. Well, by the time they were ready for the photo, six more officers had shaved their heads to show support for the youngster. in less chan eleven months the officers had raised $12,000.00 for the C.C.S. Now the events are being held all over the world by many Police Departments to help their local charities. Come on out and show your support or drop off a donation at the RCMP Detachment. Questions?
