Those ideas have been used to revise the District Official Community Plan (OCP). Now, it’s time to take a look atthe = revised plan, and let us know, whether we got it right! Plan addresses community issues Some issues have not changed since the OCP was first approved in 1990; the preservation of the environment continues to be a strongly supported goal. Other issues have evolved as we are faced with new chal- lenges and changing social and economic times. Today, residents are increasingly concerned about growth, job creation, and the coct and type of housing.. These issues and many more are discussed in the OCP, which will set the direction for municipal policies and action for many years to come. How you can participate Come to an Open House, see how the CCP is shaping up, and fet us know if we are on the right track The OCP will be revised based on input gathered at the Open Houses and will be presented to Council for review and discussion.
