Wednesday, Oct. 25: Joico’s third
annual Hair Fantasy Compet-
ition wiil be held at Richards on
Richards in Vancouver. Proceeds
will be put towards breast cancer
research and programs through
the Canadian Cancer Society,
B.C, chapter. Twenty-six teams of
licensed hairstylists will test the
limits of skill, imagination and
gravity to produce designs rang-
ing all the way from the beautiful
to the bizarre. Doors will be open-
ing at 7 p.m. Admission is $15

and includes one drink. Phone

Saturday, Oct. 28: Park Royal
serves up tea and fashions, 1-4
p.m., in the Galleria located on the
second level in the south mall.
