THE FOLLOWING people appeared in North and West Vancouver courts recently to face various charges: Before Judge Jerome Paradis in North Vancouver provincial court on Aug. 17: Adrienne Geraldine Barregar, 24, of North Vancouver, was fined $150 after he pleaded guilty to breaching probation by failing to report to a probation officer on Sept. 29, 1993, in North Vancouver. Zebunissa Jeraj, 49, of North Vancouver, received six months’ probation after she pleaded guilty to Stealing a package of meat belonging to Extra Foods on June 20 in North Vancouver City. A probation term order states that Jeraj is not to be found in any Extra Foods store in the province. Kevin Allan Lill, 19. of North Vancouver, received six months’ probation after he pleaded not guilty to possessing magic mushrooms (psilocybin) for trafficking purposes, but instead pleaded guilty to the less- er or included offence of possessing a restricted drug. The original charged stemmed from a June 24 incident in North Vancouver District. Before Judge Bill Rodgers in MOSQUITO CREEK PARK TRAIL North Vancouver provincial court on Aug. 10: Cameron Scott Barnes, 18. of North Vancouver, received nine months" probation after he pleaded guilty to assaulting a female on March 28 in North Vancouver District. Robert Gordon Jennings, 46, of North Vancouver, received six months’ probation after he pleaded guilty to stealing groceries belonging to Save-On-Foods in ‘North Vancouver District on June Ht. Nader Solaimani, 25, of North Vancouver, received nine months’ probation after he pleaded guilty to assaulting a person on June 22 in North Vancouver District. Before Judge Doug Moss in North Vancouver provincial court on July 20: Raymond Edgar Lavigne, 41. of Burnaby, was fined $500 and received 12 months’ probation after he pleaded guilty to stealing gro- ceries belonging to Save-On-Foads on March 7 in North Vancouver District. Befcre Judge Reginald Grandisen in West Vancouver provincial court on July 19: John McKendrick Bell, 64, of West Vancouver, was fined $300 and received six months’ probation after he pleaded guilty to breaching a recognizance by drinking alcohol on July 5 in West Vancouver. Bell was required to pay a $30 victim surcharge. Before Judge Doug Moss ia West Vancouver Provincial court on July 19: David Louis Morris, 31, of Everett, Washington, was fined $850 after he pleaded guilty to dangerqus driving on Highway 99 on May 6. Morris was prohibited from dri- ving for six months in connection with the charge. Before Judge Doug Moss in West Vancouver provincial court on July 18: George Stanley Bridge, 59, of West Vancouver, was fined $250 after he pleaded guilty to driving while prohibited on l6th Sureet in West Vancouver on April 14. Bridge's driver's licence was sus- pended one year in connection with the charge. Zhao Qui Ye, 29, of Vancouver, was fined $100 after he pleaded guilty to being the driver involved in a hit-and-run accident on June 3 on the Trans-Canada Highway in West Vancouver.
