Police issue wallet warning

THE NORTH Vancouver RCMP
have issued a warning to the
public about two suspected wallet
thieves,

A police spokesman said that
sinee April 1, several people have
lodged complaints with the RCMP
about their wallets being stolen
from the Save-On-Foods outlet
on Marine Drive, the IGA store
on Marine Drive and the IGA
outlet at the Lynn Valley Centre,

The spokesman said a woman,

deserited to be in her early 20s
with shoulder-length brown hair
and a sii build, approaches
shoppers and begins a conversa-
tion.

While victims are engaged in
conversation, their wallets are
stolen by a mitie accomplice,

Anyone with any information
regarding the thefts is asked to
call the North Vancouver ROMP
at 988-1311.
