Christmas toy drive targets boaters

THE VANCOUVER Children’s
Cruise Society (VCCS) is appeal-
ing to the local boating public to
drop off toys and food at the
Plaza of Nations this Sunday as
part of the annual Chiidren’s
Christmas Cruise.

The VCCS, in conjunction with

the Vancouver Carol Ship Festival
Society has this year invited over
2,000 needy children and _ their
escorts to enjoy a free cruise,
lunch and entertainment. The
cruise is courtesy of the Western
Canadian Charter Boat Associa-
tion.
