Bruce Marton-Lambert, 24, is one of 36 students from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ont. who will re-enact the historical voyages of Sir Alexander Mackenzie this summer in the Canada Sea-to-Sea program. This year marks the second phase of a four-year project orga- nized by Lakehead University. In 1989, 25 Lakehead students pad- dled 3,500 kilometres from Fort McMurray, Alta. to the Arctic Ocean, re-enacting Mackenzie's first trip down the river that now bears his name. This summer the expedition will travel 3,400 kilometres from Lachine, Que. to Winnipeg.
