The trips feature visits to some of B.C’s most beautiful sights, such as the Stein Valley, scenic Van- couver Island and more. A five-day trip to the Cathedral Lakes wilderness area will take place on Aug. 4 to 8. There will be opportunities for nature photography, flora and _ fauna identification, and fishing. Visit the spectacular virgin Learn bounce basics TWO FAMILY trampoline workshops will be held at Eagle Harbour Community Centre. The first workshop, on Satur- day, July 16 from 12:30 to 2 p.m., will introduce safety, the basics of bounce and basic skills. The second workshop, on Saturday, July 23 from 12:30 to 2 p.m., is designed as a follow-up and will deal with skill advance- ment and spotting techniques. The workshops will be con- ducted by Geoff Patterson, head coach of Eagle Harbour’s recre- ational gymnastics and trampoline program. He is a certified gym- nastics and trampoline coach cur- rently working with children ages 18 months to 13 years on the North Shore. Kurt Richard Schafer, also a former Carson Graham Secondary student, graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors in Kinesiology.
