Skater shows art TOLLER CRANSTON, Canada’s best-known figure skater, will have his latest paintings on display at Bau-Xi Gallery April | to 13. As champion skater, Cranston won six con- secutive Canadian Men's Championships, an Olympic medal, and reigned supreme in three world freeskating events. The influence of his original style and flair is un- disputed. Almost simultaneously, Cranston has been making a Statement in the field of fine art. He attended the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Montreal and is a founding member of the Canadian School of Mystic Symbolism, an art form which reflects the magic and fantasy of life through the fusion of col- our, detail and emotion.
