Dear Editor: - I would like to open by stating that I also am a single mother with two children to support. I have been. sup- porting them the past two years. I am angered by the responses to the article “I won't let my children Starve.” I am a stubborn and self- sufficient woman. I have ambitions for myself greater than the status of welfare, as I am sure that most women do. But at the same time, I am also a very lucky woman. I am surrounded by fainily and friends that love and support our family. So, why am I writing, you ‘Better Dear Editor: Just wanted to thank you for “Focus” of Wednesday, January 21.
