The switch was revealed
after Mrs. Armistead was
arrested for killing another
pregnant woman, Kathryn
Viramontes, whose throat
was slit and whose fetus was
cut from her abdomen. Mrs.
Armistead is now serving a
life sentence for the killing.

After the arrest police
found the 8&-month-old
Christy Ann at Mrs. Ar-
mistead’s apartment and
began checking births the
nurse had attended.

GVRD okay’s PNE as multiplex site

National Exhibition grounds
as the site for the proposed
Multiplex complex, in-
cluding a sports stadium.
