The Deep Cove resident is the DJ who is credited with popularizing rock and roll in the Vancouver area. He laid claim to being the first dise jockey to program the “new music” ona regular basis in Canada, and the first to play The effervescent Robinson seus his success as *a Canadian story” and says it has all been fun. “I can’t believe they pay me for what T do.” Bat Robinson is tired of getting out of bed at 4:15 a.m. to host his breakfast radio show on 650 CISL. So he’s going to cut back on his commitments. He will still host Red"s Classic Theatre on KVOS TV12 and says he will probably develop a weekly broadeast format with CISL.
