North: Vancouver RCMP Const. Tom Seaman said the man appeared te have dozed off while driving. His 1979 Fiat hit a median and flipped. The police constable said the man was trapped under the car for a short time after the 3 a.m.incident. Seaman said the man was not speeding. Police believe alcohol was not involved in the incident. The car was a write-off. No charges were recom- mended. The driver’s name was not released. — Anna Marie D’Angelo ‘Vancouver Gonzalez, 23, of North Vancouver, received six months’ probation after he pleaded guilty to committing mischief by damaging a man’s vehicle window, windshield wiper and turn signal hardics on Jan. 3 in North Vancouver District. Gonzalez was required to pay $100 restitu- tion and perform 25 hours of community work service.
