Street Fashions will hold a wine
and cheese fashion show, 7 p.m.
in the Jim Graham Lounge at the
North Shore Winter Club (NSWC),

look good, you feel better. That's
the premise of the Look Good —
Feel. Better program for cancer
patients. The Canadian Cosmetic,
- Toiletry and Fragrance Foundation
and Lions Gate Hospital (LGH)
-have. joined together..to offer
monthly workshops at the hospital.
Makeup and skincare, scarf tying
-and wigs will. be covered in this
two-hour workshop, 7-9 p.m., in

Saturdsy, March If: West
Vancouver designer Farida Lalji
hosts a fashion show, dinner and
music party at Executive Inn, 4201
Lougheed Hwy., Burnaby. One-of-
a-kind imported Indian fashions
from Lalji’s newly opened Private
Collection boutique in the heart of
Vancouver's Punjabi Market will
¢ featured.. Guest of honor is
Judeline Tyabji. Net proceeds of
this event will be donated to the
Vancouver/Richmond Association
for the Mentally Handicapped.

Canadian Designer and Fashion
Association (DFA) holds a design-
er discount sale in the Floral
Room at Vandusen Botanical
Gardens, 5251 Oak St., Vancouver,
from 9:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m.
Admission is free for this sale of
spring collections from B.C.
designers, fabrics and accessories.

Vancouver Symphony
Orchestra’s Lovers’ Ball takes
place at Hotel Vancouver. The gala
black-tie affair begins at 6:45 p.m.
