NMieeting explores low self-esteem SELF-ESTEEM will be the topic for the next Headstart Meeting, Wednesday, May 10, at 7:30 p.m., with psychologist Dr. Margaret Kendrick as speaker. Loss of confidence is common after a head injury, especially if the head-injured person feels a ioss of any skills or abilities. Confidence can rebuild slowly with the regaining of old abilities and the development of new oncs. Dr. Kendrick will be focusing on strategies which can be used to improve self-esteem. Headstart is a support group for head-injured persons and their familics. It meets on the second Wednesday of each month at Lions Gate Hospital in Seminar Roon 1.
