Symposium targets
' builder education

SPEAKERS FROM. across
Canada and the United
States will be gathering at
the Westin Bayshore Hotel
in Vancouver to discuss and
evaluate the current state of
builder education within the

housing industry in Canada, -

the United: States and in
other parts of the world.

The two-day symposium
will examine three exciting
developments ‘that have oc-
curred recently: the Home
Builders Institute, which is
the educational arm of “the
National. Association of
Home Builders in the U.S.,;
the. Alberta Home Builders

Graduate Institute, and the/

Certified “Professional
Builder Program, developed
by CHBA-BC, a program
scheduled to become part’ of
B.C.'s college curriculum.
