Police clamp down
on WV speeders

WEST VANCOUVER Police are duaping down ba Marine Drive
Speeders. _
Police say they have specifically jstepped up enforcement of the
intersection at 11th Street and Marine Drive.
During a 12-hour survey of the area completed April 10, the
. Getachment handed out 27 speeding tickets to drivers who were
averaging 74 kilometves per hour in a50 kilometre per hour zone.
A total of 5,600 vehicles posted an average speed of 60
” kilometres per hour in the 50 kilometre per. hour speed zone.
