Farm hosts egg hunt

CELEBRATE EASTER at
Maplewood Farm.

The farm is sponsoring its sixth
annual Easter egg hunt on Sunday,
April 3 in cooperation with the
Mount Seymour Lions Club.

Children can color farm-sup-

plied hard-boiled eggs at 10:30
a.m. The egg hunt starts at } p.m.
and is open to children from tod-
dier age to 10 years. Throughout
the day pony rides and a food
concession will be available.

DOWN QUILT Making In A Das as back at bagle Harbour Community
Centre, returning by popular demand,

The course on Saturday. April 9, tram 9 aan. to 4 pvo, features
master quilt instructor Faye Tevendale. Vevendale will teach participants
how to make any size of down quilt and sill also discuss making quilt
covers.

Those interested are urged to register carly as space is limited to eight
people and materials for quilts are pre-cut. Participants should bring
lunch, scissors, a large spool of white cotton thread. pins, pencil,
measuring tape, a plastic garbage bag and, if possible, their own sewing
machine. Cost of materials is $100 to S180 depending on the cost of
featherdown and the size of quilt, In addition, the fee for the course is
$24,
