at the Seymour Art Gallery, located al
4360 Gallant Ave. in Deep Cove.

JULY & AUGUST: Arts in the Cove
Summer programs for children aged Sto 16
have beeun. Theatre and musical programs
include creative drama, musical theatre and
African drumming. Classes in visual arts
include maskmaking, creative woodwork,
and claybuilding, as well as drawing. print-
ing and painting. Program information. is

JULY 12: Day trip to Harrison Hot Springs
"for seniors. Please call Seyeove Community

an exhibit of interactive sound sculptures
and drawings by former Deep Cove resident
Burke Patterson.

JULY 24: Opening reception for West
Vancouver artist Colin Hempsall's exhibition
My Ocean, My Coast. Hempsall single-hand-
edly sailed to California, Hawaii, Srmoa,
Tonga and back in the 41° ketch he buiit him-
self. All are welcome to meet the watercol-
orist from 7-9 p.m, Refreshments served.

JULY 26: Colin Hempsall will show stides
and talk ahout his adventures. All are wel-
come, From 1-3 p.m.
