Blackcomb has the largest verti-
cal drop in North America at 5,280
feet (1,580 m) followed by Whistler
at 5,020 feet (1,500 m).

There are 28 lifts on the two
mountains, nine of which are high
speed. ’

speedy treks to favorite runs.

Besides downhill and cross-
country skiing, winter activities at
Whistler Resort include snowmobil-
ing, snowshoeing, sicigh rides,
paragliding and ice skating.
