Blackcomb has the largest verti- cal drop in North America at 5,280 feet (1,580 m) followed by Whistler at 5,020 feet (1,500 m). There are 28 lifts on the two mountains, nine of which are high speed. ’ The high-speed lift systems ser- vice three mountain bases for speedy treks to favorite runs.
