a sack, beautify a box, reuse a
basket or drop in at a North
Vancouver library display and
find out mere about Christmas
packaging alternatives.

The GVRD’s Waste Reduc-
tion and Recycling group has

mounted displays in regional
libraries to promote alter-
natives for traditional paper
gift wrap. During November,
look for displays on reusable
gift wrap at the North Van-
couver City Library at 121
West 14th St.

By choosing to wrap gifts in
reusable wrap you are practis-
ing waste reduction and help-
ing reach the goal of a 50%
reduction of solid waste by the
year 2000.
