(Kent Kallberg photo) Men's and women's field hockey amalgamates For ‘better incentive’ The West Vancouver Womens and Girls Field Hockey Club has announced it will be amalgamating with the West Van Men's Club to form a single unit for field - hockey in West Van. The decision to amalgamate was made at the annual gencral meeting of the club, held May 28, at the West Van Community Centre. The club feels the amalgamation will give incentive for field hockey players to remain with the club, and not only to play hockey but also to enjoy the social aspects of a club. It was also reported at the meeting that the club had a very succesful year, and is still looking for volunteers in organizaion and coaching.
