Nathoo is senior vice-president of operations for Vancouver City Savings Credit Union. She has been a member of Simon Fraser's board since 1993 and is a provincial government appointment, In 1995, Nathoo won a YWCA Women of Distinction Award in the category of management and the professions. The award recognized her innovative approach to manage- ment, said a Simon Fraser spokesman. Nathoo has pioneered socially responsible business practices throughout her career. Highlights include the introduc- tion of a council to integrate employ- ment equity issues with VanCity’s business practices and a program to support women in trades and tech- nology at B.C.
