Preparing cars for rainy season means being prepared

B.C. motorists are working to reduce emissions

IN A recent survey conducted for
the British Columbia Automobile
Association (BCAA), a majority of
auto club members said they have
taken individual action to reduce
harmful emissions over the past
year.

Of the people surveyed, 90%
said they plan errands to make sev-
eral stops in one trip. Over three-
_Quartezs (77%) said they will walk,
if:pessible, rather-than drive to a
destination, almost three in 10
