for trout deaths in local creek

Thain Creek fish kill that occurred one day after the creek

was stocked with trout.

The B.C. environment ministry
is currently investigating the inci-
dent, but one North Vancouver
District, alderman has said the
district has already accepted blame
for the fish kill and has admitted
it made ‘‘a serious mistake.”’
