Alderman Gary Payne
made the accusation at
Monday night’s. meeting of
North Vancouver City
council, and he added that
as a veteran’ cabinet
minister, Health Minister
Rafe Mair should not resort
to “buck passing” over the
establishment of the hearing
clinic.

Payne's comments
followed the presentation of
a letter to City council from
the North Shore Union
Board of Health, requesting
council's help in pressing the
ministry for a commitment
on the hearing centre.
