Their-impressions of that coun- try will form the basis for an up- coming slide show and talk on April 10. Fitz-Earle was in Japan to do research on genetic techniques for insect control at Kyushu Universi- ty, the third largest national uni- versity in Japan. He and his family were able to ‘participate in many aspects of Japanese life, and in their spare time they travelled extensively in southern Japan ‘visiting many modern and traditional attractions.
