GROUSE Mountain's natural beauty was the pertost backdrop
this past week as members of the Squamish Nation helped cel:
ebrate the opening of a five-day Native Art kxhibition (June
21-25), Wednesday was National Aboriginal Day and the
mountain held an outdoor lunch feast and display. There was
tood and music and, of course, artwork, Featured in the display
sas an eriginal hand-carved native mask by Aaron Joseph val-
aed at over 52,500. The exhibit was very popular with the
Mountain’s numerous visitors, many of wham stopped by to
experience all the sites and sounds.
