As 1 was flipping through the
Feb, 19 North Shore News, | found
tuyself furiously reading a Doug
Collins column. | could not betieve
what J was reading.

The article was completely igno-
rant and anyone who isn'ta narrow.
minded racist would also think so.

While people in this world are
trying to-come to peace with other
nations, | find it difficult to believe
that there are actually people, like
Collins, writing columns that pro-
mote racism.

The entire column was degrad-
ing to all immigrants moving to
Canada, especially Asians.

I don’t think Doug Coilins real-
izes that much of the economic
growth of this country is brought
about by immigrants.

I work on the North Shore and read most issues of your paper. This
is how I became aware of Doug Collins. There was a controversy over
his opinions, so I decided to make up my own mind. I was impressed
