A proposed fiquefied natural gas tank
near Howe Sound has passed the
provincial government's environmen-
tal assessment review process. But
construction is still a long way off.

fon UNG tank was approved by a review com
mittee on March 22 and rubber stamped by
cavironment minister Cathy MfeGregor and
energy onister Dan Miller. Approval was made
puliic April 9.

The TS month review examined caviron
mental, cconomic, social, health and satety con-
cerns, according to McGregor.

from rural to industrial use by the Sunshine

approval by the B.C. U Commission.
